BBC Star Party

Jodrell Bank is going to be the base for the BBC TWO Star Party this Saturday night. It is planned to coincide with National Astronomy Week. The programme will last an hour and a half and will use 'real' (I would guess it will be pre-observed in the case of the radio telescopes as they take ages to create an image) data from telescopes around the world! If I'm lucky, a planetarium/live telescope position computer program that I wrote may appear some point during the show but that all depends on the BBC people.

Unfortunately you have to be invited by the BBC so I won't be there (could I claim to be working at that time of night?).
