Hello. This blog was set up as somewhere to write about astronomy and astrophysics related stuff. It covers a whole variety of topics within astronomy but tends to have a slight bias towards the radio end of the spectrum. It normally comes to you from roughly 2° 18' W, 53° 15' N, although sometimes I may be lucky enough to be at a wildly different longitude and latitude.
It can get lonely out here in the outer spiral arm of the blogosphere so why not send an email (the address starts stuart, is followed by an @ and then add on the domain) or add a comment to one of the blog posts.
In case you were wondering, the image at the top was drawn by hand with the night sky background taken from the excellent Stellarium. The silhouettes are of the Lovell, Mark II and 42ft radio telescopes at Jodrell Bank Observatory.
Clear Skies,
Stuart
