Slacker Astronomy also caught out a few people with their announcement that they were to stop podcasting. Actually, the spoof episode is worth listening to, so that you can hear MC Hawking and the universe rap.

Nature also weighed in with a story about the Moon being eroded. Apparently, bacteria that hitched a ride with the Apollo astronauts, has been eating away the lunar rock. Startling images taken by the Floating Optical Orbital Lens are also shown.
